Today we are rolling out voice interactions for all Premium investigators. Instead of reading responses, you can now speak directly to suspects and hear their answers aloud. Every nervous pause. Every too-quick denial. Every carefully rehearsed alibi.

How It Works

Simply tap the microphone icon during any interrogation. Ask your question out loud, and the suspect will respond with their own voice. The AI processes your speech, formulates a response in character, and delivers it through our voice synthesis system.

It feels remarkably different from typing. More intimate. More confrontational. You will find yourself leaning in, watching for tells that do not exist on a screen but somehow feel present anyway.

The Technical Wizardry

Without getting too deep into the machinery, we are using advanced speech recognition combined with real-time AI voice generation. Each character has a distinct voice profile that matches their personality and background. The elderly gardener sounds nothing like the young socialite.

The response time sits under two seconds in most cases. Fast enough to feel conversational. Slow enough to build tension.

Fair warning: some of these suspects get rather defensive when cornered. Headphones recommended if you are playing in public. Your fellow commuters may not appreciate an AI butler loudly protesting his innocence.
